The Biochemistry Section of the School of Medicine consists of seven faculty who have primary appointments in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences. These faculty are responsible for organizing and teaching the Medical Biochemistry course to first-year medical students. All have active research programs, which in some cases involve collaborations with faculty in the School of Medicine.
